Intent: Collect information about farmers markets in North Carolina

Purpose: Gain an understanding of how markets operate in the state to better communicate with stakeholders and inform the development of resources and programs

Type of Data collected: Frequency and seasonality of market operation, community events, budgets and funding, vendor numbers and product types, customer counts, leadership and governance, and much more.

Goals: Refine and periodically repeat survey process to develop a more accurate representation of NC Farmers Markets
